A few years ago I heard Brian Buffini, who is a well-known real estate business coach; speak about Realtor® success, in terms of closing transactions per annual basis.  According to his findings, the average Realtor® (national averages) closes 7.1 transactions per year.  Among this Realtor® population, 50% of Realtors® are behind on their taxes, dependent on several financial and market variables. 

So basically, only a small percentage of Realtors® are really considered successful by countercultural means – countercultural meaning those who do not fit within the normal patterns of the macro perspective of the real estate industry.

Selley Group Real Estate, LLC is a visionary company who are defined countercultural by financial, as well as hard-working standards.  Though we employ high-performance strategies, encourage ongoing educational knowledge, avoid negative chit-chat with other Realtors®, and continue with progressive marketing, our successes are not centered on these methods about worldly excellence.  There’s no doubt all of these well-intentioned methods contribute to business success, but God wanted our company to operate even more radically from the norm.

Well-intentioned strategies assist the business person in the diagnosis and treatment of relevant market strategies.  Yet, God prompted us to begin our strategies in prayer.  Not to use God for marketing means, nor to cheapen His holiness, but to be in union with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.  From prayer, the strength to operate “counter-culturally” led to our walk of faith in business.
