Pertaining to my career as a Colorado Springs Realtor, I’ve read plenty about the importance of leadership. For this upcoming 2010, I’d like to opine for a moment about this subject. Opine – I sound like Bill O’Reilly.
As a leader of our group of Colorado Springs Realtors, I view leadership as an attempt to influence, for whatever the reason. And when I refer to influence, I’m not talking about exerting pressure to control. Rather, I speaking in terms of being able to understand the entirety of any given situation, whether this deals with Colorado Springs Realtors and/or prospective clients. Because once you’re able to understand the dynamics behind situations, then you can adapt your behaviors accordingly, whereby it becomes a mutual endeavor between the leader and the one being empowered to participate in leadership to meet certain Colorado Springs Real Estate goals.
Overall, I think one of the most pivotal attributes from effective leadership is good communication. As you already know, effective communication is vital to every aspect of profitability, whether it relates to the soul or the business spreadsheet. So for 2010, I encourage others in leadership to focus on some of the principles of what it means to be a good leader, underscoring the importance of effective group communication.
