Even while showing Colorado Springs Real Estate homes, my mind has jotted back and forth today, thinking about the Chilean earthquake and its numerous aftershocks.
Not based on fear or anxiety or on anything else that breaks us from our comfort zone, but lately, I’ve sensed urgency in my own prayer life.
In the scheme of life, we can’t outrun the unchanging movements of our planet, but we can certainly learn more about ourselves because of them.
Basically, I’ve been thinking about what I do as a Colorado Springs Realtor and ponder about how this fits into the scheme of everything happening around us.
My business is about shelter. And so many people are being stripped from their homes; just recently, Haiti and now Chile. It reminds me how everything on earth is so temporal and underscores the importance to keep our eyes fixed on the eternal.
My prayers for the safety and shelter of Chile go out to God and His wonderful grace and mercy.
