In order to maintain its AAA four-diamond status, Cheyenne Mountain resort is vaulting ahead, thanks to a 6% over budget increase in business this year, to renovate its 316-room hotel for an estimated cost of around $20 million dollars, as reported by Rebecca Tonn of The Colorado Springs Business Journal.
As a Colorado Springs Realtor who works with relocation clientele, I’ve noticed recently over the past year or so that the renovation buzz has been going around to other resorts, such as the Broadmoor, Colorado Springs Marriott and Antlers Hilton – located in downtown Colorado Springs.
These particular upgrades in the hospitality industry bode well for Colorado Springs and the optimism behind the projections of economic growth for the future.
