Gordon and I have already started intercessory prayer for Dave and Paula Hamilton (The Woodlands, Texas), who are part of the Active Rain family.  Tomorrow, on Wednesday, Paula will undergo surgery, and we’ve pledged our faithful prayers, especially on her behalf.

Let those pray who feel inspired to do so by His Spirit.  Otherwise, please disregard this blog if it’s offensive to your religious beliefs.

Let us pray:

“Holy Father, Son & Spirit – Thank You for Your sovereignty in all things, including those things in which we cringe when feeling inadequate by our own effort…Lord, we recognize that it’s during these times when You rekindle the resources of faith by Your power…Thank you for salvation of grace and the opportunity to share in Your divine power granted to us related to everything pertaining to life and godliness…Right now, we’re humbled by Your presence and the reality of eternal life and the fullness about healing…We exalt You with praise…We exalt You with daily worship of our lives…And regarding Your daughter, Paula Hamilton, we see parts of who You are in her, even in the parts of her internal brokenness…Lord, we know that You are her all in all, and thus, we humbly call on Your healing touch during her surgical procedure tomorrow…May the outcome of her salvation bring glory to Your will for her life…In the name of Your Son, we pray for the connectedness of Your Spirit to guide, to sanctify, to comfort and to heal, not only Paula, but for the purposeful intentions of her marriage with Dave and their family…We pray for the symbolic resurrection life of Your blood to be shed over every part of this process, including the doctors, nurses, insurance companies and such…Lord, may this be a time of increased belief, increased intimacy, awareness of Your love and light and time of full restoration…We ask all these things in Your powerful name…Amen.”
