Starting next week on Wednesday, July 14th, begins the annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, which is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association regarding the Rodeo World Championship title.
This year marks the 70th season of this spectacular event and as usual the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo will donate proceeds to charitable programs affiliated with local military personnel and their respective families.
To watch some of the competitive events, such as bronc riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling and bull riding, just show up at the Norris-Penrose Event Center next Wednesday. This is a great event for Colorado Springs and it’s something very worthwhile to attend.
