There has been a lot of propaganda about whether or not you can manipulate dreams by implanting an idea into someone’s deepened dream state, especially after the movie Inception made its debut about 3 weeks ago.

To some degree, I think you can. For instance, if I watch a particular television show just before I hit the sack for the evening, I might incorporate a character or plot into my dreams.

And the same holds true about my Colorado Springs Real Estate business. If I’m typing away frantically late into night or responding to emails from my iphone just before I go to bed, then there is the likelihood that I might actually dream about a certain deal or specific real estate scenario. In fact, if I awaken before my dream has been completed, then I’ll try to go back to sleep to engineer the final outcome in my favor when dreaming.

All things aside, I had the weirdest dream the other night. Because I’ve been overworking (12-14 hours per day/7 days/week) and my youngest son is getting ready to go off to college and have been completely exhausted and require a glass of Organic Red Wine before bedtime, I dreamt something very out of sorts.

I had a dream that I had a baby named “2-By-4.” Too bad I couldn’t fall back to sleep to straighten this dream out. When I told Gordon about it, he simply burst out into laughter. Guess I need to slow things down. I’ll probably get that break this Fall sometime, and look forward to some better dreams…”2-By-4,” what the heck? Leonardo…I need your help!
