SHHHH!!!!  Don’t give this secret away. Cherise is located at her dad’s 2000 acre ranch in Texas and is literally buffered from internet access and is extremely limited regarding cell phone coverage.  So…I thought I would include you on my secret plans for her.

For several years, I’ve been very limited about my physical activities due to chronic pain.  And even today, I’m still throttled with bouts of achy throbs and burning sensations, followed by intermittent episodes of recurrent debilitating pain.  Nevertheless, I’ve chosen to live instead of living to exist. And I know this power behind living that has been granted me is very contagious to those around me, including Cherise.

As a result, we’re going to step out of our own comfort zones about how we see things and how we react to life. Of course, responsible moderation must always be considered with my surgically repaired (4) neck and neuropathic symptomatology.  Yet, I think that we need to give this a try…

As soon as Cherise returns from her trip, I’m going to sign us up at Whistling Pines Gun Club – Colorado Springs’ Only Indoor Shooting Range – for some concealed carry introduction, plus one hour on the range, gun rental of up to three guns and one box of ammo for a price of $79.

This is a deal we can’t really pass up.  Neither Cherise nor I own any guns nor do we hunt or shoot for sport.  But I think if I can find the right handgun to shoot without jerking my neck, this is something that we can add to our bucket list.  And more importantly, it is something we might choose to do as a hobby once in a while.
