Next to all of the hiking trails in the Rockrimmon neighborhoods, sometimes it feels like there are more deer than homes that sprawl against the undulating and rolling topography on the Northwest side of Colorado Springs and located on the eastside of I-25 off Woodmen Road, essentially. This place is perfect for nature enthusiasts and certainly fits the bill for being part of a thriving community that prides itself as the #1 Pet-friendly city in the United States.

Without doubt, there are some breath-taking views from various bluffs that afford you city and mountain views. And the uniqueness of the swerves and curves of the landscape keep you in balance with all the surrounding nature.

Regarding the Rockrimmon neighborhood homes, this is an established residential area with all kinds of different floor plans from which to choose. You’ll also hear the hammers banging on remodel jobs and making renovation changes to improve various neighborhoods.

Rockrimmon serves the District #20 Schools, which include Woodmen Roberts, Eagle View Middle School and Air Academy High School. Their track records speak for themselves…take a look onto www.asd20.org for more information.

Stability, mature trees, beautiful yards, walking trails, District #20 schools and Woodmen Valley Chapel are some of the anchoring pieces of the Rockrimmon area.

If you’re looking for that place where you can really get the feel of Colorado living among the beautifully undulating landscape and you want to feel a world away from everything else, Rockrimmon may be the place for you!

WOW!!! Did you see from this video a group of deer nibbling on some grass from one of the yards of this Peregrine neighborhood?

In essence, this scene captures part of the theme of Peregrine. There is a mixture of about 1,000 well-built homes that are nestled amongst the foothills where wildlife and nature seem to pass time together in tranquil rhythm.

The Blodgett Peak territory abounds over 167 acres, consisting of massive open space, winding and hilly trails with wildlife (such as Peregrine Falcons), unusual geological rock formations, and of course, with magnificent views that make you feel like you can touch the sky. Overall, you can find “your” space to decompress from all of the stresses of life when spending time on this northwest side of Colorado Springs.

Outdoor recreation is also part of the theme for Peregrine. There are two beautiful parks, Marshall-Sprague Park and Woodmen Valley Park. And again, trails galore take you on great adventures throughout Blodgett Peak.

When a well-designed neighborhood provides upscale housing, questions about education are usually asked. Peregrine serves the District #20 Schools, which include Woodmen Roberts, Eagle View Middle School and Air Academy High School. Their track records speak for themselves…take a look onto www.asd20.org for more information.

Many homes are perched on overlooking mesas that bring the city lights into your own personal space. There are so many positive adjectives that help to describe the naturally beautiful reality of Peregrine. Enough said… Rewind the video!

As Colorado Springs continues to grow on a fast-paced schedule, it seems as if the north end of the city is receiving lots of attention for new home construction.  And why not?  Not only are local residents drawn to new homes and new restaurants and additional shopping and more fun things to do, but so are residents from Denver.  Yes, that’s right.  Compared to the Denver housing market, Colorado Springs still offers some options of residential affordability, and people are seeking some of these choices in the Northgate sector of Colorado Springs.

Located near the north entrance of the Air Force Academy, Northgate covers approximately 55 square miles at an estimated elevation of 6,900 feet above sea level. From most places within Northgate, a panoramic view of Pikes Peak and the surrounding foothills captures your view.  It seems like the locations of neighborhoods and the placement of houses on lots has also tickled the ears of the various new home builders of Northgate who try to emphasize the magnificence of the mountain range.  Typically, home prices are a little higher than other specific areas of Colorado Springs.  The median sales price is over $400,000 and seems to be climbing annually, as listing inventory is very low within the Colorado Springs Real Estate market.

The Flying Horse development is nothing short of spectacular with a Flying Horse North development to soon be added.  Within the Club at Flying Horse, there is a well-designed 18-hole golf course by Tom Weiskopf, plus a World-class Steakhouse for dining, an Athletic Club, In-Door Tennis Courts, Spa and luxury overnight lodging opportunities.  The residential housing at Flying Horse is tailor made for luxury living.

In Northgate, there are retail businesses that provide an economic anchor for other small businesses, such as Bass Pro Shops, Interquest Movie Theaters, Great Wolf Lodges, Summit Entertainment Center, plus more.

Mega church, New Life, provides worship services on Friday evenings and on Sundays.  Next to New Life and the World Prayer Center is Pikes Peak Community College.

For those who are pre-college, District #20 Schools provide excellent education for elementary, middle and high school ages.  Also, there are several private and alternative educational pathways of learning within #20 District. Take a look onto www.asd20.org for more information.

Overall, Northgate is growing rather quickly with new businesses opening constantly.  Give me a call if you have expressed interest in Northgate, which is your gateway between Colorado Springs and Denver on I-25.
