Today we are joined by Bill McAfee the President of Empire Title and Founder of Peak Producers which represents the Top 10% of agents in the Pikes Peak region.

Cherise and Bill discuss what real estate can do to transform people’s lives and how since the start of forming The Peak Producers, there has been genuine care shown for the community. The organization has helped families find housing who would have otherwise been homeless, as well as support organizations such as Reclaiming Hope, Mary’s Home and the Rescue Mission bring programs and hope to those who are in need.

Real estate agents have a tendency to be looked at as greedy and money hungry as a perception, but Real Estate in the Colorado Springs community is different as The Peak Producers have allowed the top agents to merge together and combine resources, set aside big egos and connect to causes that bring agents close together.

Bill has been tracking the market numbers since 2003 and mentions how the past 3 years have been historic. In Feb 2015, the average time a house was on the market was 110 days. We touch on the August Stats and how the market is still up from the January numbers.
